Footscray
Overview
This small project in Footscray involved the complete renovation of a rundown single fronted terrace.
With a tight budget in mind this client wanted to replace everything – bathroom, kitchen, floors, new bifold doors, window treatments, interior and exterior paint.
Bathroom
The tiny bathroom that was entered through an equally tiny laundry was reconfigured to be a much better size by including a the laundry within the bathroom. This enable the client to include a small freestanding bath and storage cupboard to provide much needed linen storage. A custom vanity and shaving cabinet added to the storage previously lacking in this small home.
Kitchen
The kitchen was re designed to maximise the space and provide an area for dining. We selected cost effective but high quality materials and finishes to deliver a clean and timeless look in neutral tones and fresh whites. Kitchen doors were specified to open without the need of handles ensuring practicality and clean lines. Subway tiles add texture to this simple space. Soft close drawers and hinges were not compromised as hardware with a lifetime warrantee was important should this property become a rental.
